Vincenzo Sandro Brancaccio was born near Naples where he started his musical formation under Aniello Desiderio. He was awarded as a young promising guitarist in 1999 and proceeded to graduate with the highest score at the Conservatorio di Musica “N. Sala” in 2005.
He has attended masterclasses with Hubert Kappel, Zoran Dukic, Carlo Marchione, Alvaro Pierri, Pepe Romero and many more.
In 2008 he was awarded with the “Dr Klaus Heinen Stipendium fur Kammermusik” at the Koblenz International Guitar Academy together with the Turkish guitarist Ozan Saritepe. The two of them went on to perform a series of concerts in the North Rhine-Westphalia as the “Akdeniz guitar duo”.
He continued his studies at the Koblenz Academy where he graduated in 2010 with a brilliant execution of “Concierto de Aranjuez”, with the Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie.
He has won over ten awards at both national and international competitions in the course of his career. He has predominantly performed as a soloist in Italy and abroad, including concerts for TV channels such as Sky cinema and Rai sat, which attained him acclaim from both the audience and the critics alike.
He currently performs as part of the “Res intimae” guitar trio, together with the Italian guitarists Michele Ambrosi e Francesco Molmenti.
In 2014 he graduated with honors in Guitar teaching at the conservatorio di Musica “Tartini” in Trieste.
He has been teaching at the Liceo Musicale “C. Percoto” in Udine since 2014.
He plays a guitar made by the guitar maker Alessandro Marseglia in 2007.
